The mold design must account for minimal warpage to ensure the fan blades do not scrape against the housing, which would cause catastrophic failure.

  • Server Bezels 

The front cover protects sensitive internal components while providing a sleek aesthetic. Usually made from PC/ABS, these parts require high-gloss surface finishes. For AI data centers, aesthetics matter, but safety is paramount. All materials must meet UL94 V-0 flame-retardant standards​ to prevent fire hazards in case of electrical shorts.

 

2.The Hidden Helpers: Cable Management and Airflow

Beyond the visible parts, small but crucial components ensure operational efficiency. Cable management clips​ and air ducts​ are often made from tough PA66+GF​ (Nylon). These parts keep thousands of wires organized and direct cool air precisely where it is needed most—over the GPUs.

3.Tooling Requirements: More Than Just a Mold

Manufacturing these parts for the AI industry requires specialized tooling expertise. Unlike standard plastic parts, AI server components demand:

First, Anti-Warpage Technology. Large bezels (often over 400mm) are prone to deformation. We utilize conformal cooling channels​ within the mold. Instead of straight drilled holes, these channels follow the shape of the part, ensuring uniform cooling and maintaining flatness within 0.3mm.

Second, Venting for Flame-Retardant Plastics. UL94 V-0 materials contain additives that release gas during molding. Without proper mold venting, the parts will burn, leaving black marks. Our molds feature optimized exhaust systems to ensure clean, defect-free surfaces.
